SPECTATOR INFORMATION
We are looking forward to having you as a guest at the Onondaga Golf and Country Club. To help make your visit more enjoyable, we have prepared this card to inform you of Club rules and etiquette.
Cell Phones
- Texting, emailing, and other non-verbal functions is permitted only if the device is on silent or vibrate mode and used in a discreet fashion. The camera function may be used throughout the facility except it is strictly prohibited in any of the club's locker rooms.
- Calls are permitted only in designated areas; inside cars or telephone booths in main clubhouse.
Club Charges
Spectators can use cash or credit in the pro shop and in the dining room.
Tipping
Tipping of employees is not permitted.
Golf Carts
The use of spectator carts is only for a spectator with a disability - NYS handicap placard verification required in the pro shop.
Recommendations While Following Play
- Stay 'outside the ropes', meaning in the rough and away from green complexes and bunkers
- Stay with or ahead of the group you are following and outside the line of play. This will ensure you do not delay the following group.
- Do not give players advice. This could result in a junior receiving penalty strokes.
Appearance, Dress Code and Conduct
Spectators are expected to adhere to appropriate standards of dress and behavior while at the Club. The purpose of a dress code is to ensure that sensible, reasonable standards are maintained on the Club premises. However in general all clothing should be clean, pressed and appropriate. Tank tops, tee shirts, fishnet tops, cut-offs, sweat pants, cargo or other athletic shorts are not permitted. Shirt tails must be tucked inside shorts or slacks.
